Brief History
Since the early 1900’s, Missouri Floor Company has been a family owned company specialized in providing and installing floor coverings of the highest quality and most enduring value and beauty. In the mid 1960’s Walter Verseman purchased the Company. Missouri Floor Co. expanded into wood sport floors on an opportunity to drive the market in the St. Louis area. The 1970’s brought synthetic sport floors into our offering where we could service multipurpose use facilities. In the late 90’s the company refocused in the residential market to specialize in wood floors and continued to expand the commercial side with Performing Art Surfaces.
Present Day
The Verseman family continues to own and operate Missouri Floor Company. Our core business remains in the Residential Wood, Sport Floor, and Performing Art’s Surfaces. Our employees and the lasting relationships with clients, contractors, and manufacturers, along with our experience over the years, have helped us hold a reputation as a strong leader in our industry. We continue this through ongoing education, development, and training through manufacturers and industry organizations (MFMA, NWFA, FIC, etc.). We operate under the planning for not just today, but tomorrow and beyond!
